Tried to practice on a few techniques... I really like how the coloring turned out. My pieces tend to be, in my opinion, over-saturated in the end. This one seems easier on the eyes haha Let me know what you think!

Partially I think you chose a good character with a not-so-saturated color pallet. Wonderfully expressive, however I'm not crazy about the stylization on the face. That's just my opinion though.

I have the personal philosophy of making fan art as similar to the original style of the fandom, and while I'm all for interpreting a character in one's own style for practice, or fun, or both, this I feel is too far from the Judal I'm used to.
But I digress. -_- *ahem*
You've improved on your mouth proportions, as well as color application. Keep up the good work.

I need to start staring at Judal a lot more to recognize the difference xD What did you find dissimilar to the original style?

I think...yeah. You gave him a more realistic face compared to the stylized features. You got the nose and mouth nice, just the eyes are not syncing if you want to copy the Magi style.
Another thing to note is that the characters are drawn with very flat features, so once one adds more dimension to the face it risks losing a "likeness."

At any rate, you don't really have to fix this particular piece unless you want to.
